According to Fi's news, the Rangers have been told by Preston that they need to pay 4 million pounds to sign Daniel Johnson.
Rangers have made an offer of £2 million for Johnson, and they hope to complete another important signing before the summer transfer window closes.
However, the report claimed that Preston made it clear that in order to sign Johnson, Rangers had to double the offer.
It is not yet known whether Rangers will meet Preston's requirements. Johnson's contract will expire next summer.
Johnson hopes to join the Rangers, he has not entered the team squad many times this season.
Preston accepted the fact that Johnson will leave the team, but they believe that last season's outstanding performance allows the players to bring more transfer fees.
